Vikings to play the Saints in London

Vikings to play Saints in London

The Vikings will officially take another trip across the pond in 2022. This marks the Vikings game in London, for which they are 2-0, although their first game against New Orleans. While it should be an interesting game against two teams familiar with each other but both undergoing many staffing changes, let’s take a look at how our favorite team has faired in both of their previous trips.

2017: Vikings 33 Browns 16

The year of Case Keemun was off to a great start, with the 5-2 Vikings taking on the 0-7 Browns. Minnesota played well on both sides of the ball, with Keenum going for 288 yards and 2 TDs, Thielen getting 5 catches for 98 yards and 1 TD. I’m sure we all remember beating the Saints in the Minneapolis Miracle before getting whooped by the Eagles in the NFC Championship.

2013: Vikings 34 Steelers 27

Reining MVP Adrian and the Vikings rolled to town to take on Pittsburg. All Day ran over the Pittsburg defense for 140 yards and 2 TDs, overcoming Roethlisberger’s 383 yards and all the Big Ben jokes/references. This season ultimately ended the season with a 5-10-1 record, leading to the dismissal of HC Leslie Frazier and beginning of the Mike Zimmer era.

The rest of the NFL schedule will be released on May 12th at 8pm ET.
